Happy new year everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted news, so I wanted to write a little update.
My illustrated stationary collection was welcomed with open arms by local shops and enthusiastically received by their customers, so much so my inventory sold out! So I’m motivated to work on making more and coming-up with new designs to launch this year. They didn’t do so well at Etsy, though. So I’m putting Lilou on hold until I have more time to take better pictures, re-vamp the shop, and do more promoting. They just do so much better in person. Other than that, I’ve been working a lot and keeping busy with my other passions/interests. I wrote a Year-end Retrospective on my blog as a memoir of my 2012.
You’ll find my stationary at Collector (you may order my cards from them online if you are not in the Bay Area)…
Sticky Art Lab is due new stock since a long time, but I only have one employee in my enterprise — me! And at craft fairs as I have stock available and can make the time to attend. So my stationary is still very much on the unique limited edition side. And that’s that for now. Thank you for tuning in again or for the first time on this brand spankin’ new year open to so many wonderful new possibilities! So many new treasures to be found! Keep being so amazingly you. It looks like my crafty alter ego took over in 2012… and it’s all about my super cute nephew these days! I just want to make cute things like him, who lives in a farm in North Carolina and plays with chickens and loves animals. I’ve really been enjoying all this natury nurturing of my crafty side, from toy making to card designing. So by request of some sweet sweet people that like what I make, I’ve open an Etsy shop to make my crafts and other creative endeavors available to everyone. Now everyone can shop for handmade gifts at Lilou starting July 14!
